What is this Artificial intelligence (AI)?
AI is considered to be the fourth fuel to power the modern industrial revolution. The simplest way to understand the nature of machine intelligence mechanics with the ability to think logically and train secondarily to the brain is to examine the basic structure of the human brain. The intellectual abilities of the human brain primarily become the functions of the left and right parts of the brain. Accordingly, it is the left that influences rational thinking. Coaching affects the South. What is being done here is to design computer systems based on models relevant to that intelligence.
AI technology can build theoretical mathematical and scientific problem-solving as well as intellectual machines for skills related to training, such as music, swimming, and driving. Although humans have the ability to train as well as to think logically, animals generally have the intelligence to train. But it must be said that only theoretical knowledge can be mechanized by traditional computer technology.
But there are also some theories behind AI handling. It is also data based. For example, sending a rocket to the moon is something that should be done on theory. But we can only determine the future of the stock market from past data analysis. In the same way, artificial intelligence can also be used by scholars with a theoretical basis in techniques such as problem solving and language manipulation and comprehension. Meanwhile, there are AI technologies that are used for situations where there is no theory but a lot of data, such as stock market, weather, social media data analysis.
Due to its theoretical background, AI technologies can provide solutions as well as reasons for solutions. It can also be explained that this is how it happens. But in the meantime, it should be emphasized that the solutions provided by AI technologies that only do data training cannot be explained.
Many subjects, such as mathematics, science, dance, and singing, support the intellect of either thought or practice. But AI can build intelligent machines in a way that represents both of these modes. That is why it is said that AI can solve problems that other technologies cannot. If we do not have the data to solve a problem then there must be theories.
There are four AI-related theories about the design of intelligent machines. The first theory is that the purpose of AI is to create machines that act like humans. This is how many people understand AI. There is nothing wrong with that. IBM Watson is a good example of a machine that acts like a human.
Creating machines that think like humans is the second theory about AI. Intelligent machines have already been developed for tasks such as chess, problem solving, and various planning tasks that prioritize cooling. Deep Blue, an AI chess game software, defeated then world chess champion Gary Casparo a few years ago.
The construction of logical machines is the third theory of AI. It goes beyond the ability to think like human beings. We use logic to manipulate our languages, to give advice, to solve various problems (law, mathematics, science). Most Cognitive Systems (CS) fall under the third ideology.
The fourth theory about AI is to build machines that do the right thing. The terms "right" here are synonymous with more practical, qualitative, and positional terms. It is a wonderful idea of the intellect that can do the right thing. Imagine that you told a robot at home to make milk tea. When this robot made milk tea step by step, it seemed that there was no sugar in the house. So logically, the robot stops making milk tea because it has no sugar. And the robot will not come to you. But if the robot did the right thing at the right time and brought the milk tea with a slice of chocolate, we would say the robot is intelligent.
Thus, it should be emphasized that intelligence is about doing what is right, not about being rational or human. Researchers currently working on AI are working on developing intelligent machines that work in this way.
Applications in AI
It is interesting to see what problems AI can solve. Man can give any kind of solution to every problem. Similarly, AI can provide a solution to a problem, even when there is no other way to solve it. Analyzing social networking data that cannot be manipulated statistically or mathematically still reveals hidden trends.
Be careful
AI technologies can also predict something. This technology can be used to analyze data related to weather, business, agriculture, medical records, letters, signatures, pictures. ......... technologies also have the potential to highlight evolutionary trends in data.
Meanwhile, cognitive systems (CS) in AI can provide solutions for logical knowledge systems that can be manipulated logically. For example, CS can provide solutions for diagnostics, counseling services, chess and other sports, designing home routes, designing various equipment such as vehicles, setting up service workshops, language recognition and manipulation as well as translation. Usually a CS solution can have several answers and tell you how each answer was received and the validity level of those answers. A few years ago I published a book called Intellectual Mechanics written in plain Sinhala which describes the theories of major AI technologies and their applications. I suggest readers interested in AI read that book.
There are a few things we need to consider when popularizing AI in society. One of them is to find solutions to problems using AI toolkit without knowing the subject matter of some who understand the value of AI. This is really dangerous.
Understand the danger thus. There are two elements to every technology, power and control. The power associated with electricity, car engines, and nuclear power is in the hands of each individual, and it is man's responsibility to control it. But AI is different. AI technology can do both its power and control. It implies that there is a level at which man cannot control it. AI is powerful enough to replace humans in some tasks because power and control go hand in hand. Because of this, using AI unknowingly is dangerous. Even software companies have criticized the use of AI tools by those who do not have the right mindset about AI.
Some say that AI may impair human memory and thinking in the future. Therefore, there should be professionals who have the proper knowledge in this regard.
If an AI professional wants it, it can provide solutions to improve our memory and thinking ability. Such research is already being done through EEG technology.
We saw the movie Terminator 20 years ago as a science fiction story about a robot with a human brain. Robots using live brain cells are now being tested. A robot using a part of a mouse's brain has been developed at the University of Reding in England.
With the advancement of AI, the gap between humans and machines is rapidly narrowing. In the future, machines will be much closer to man. That is why co-existence between man and machine is expected.
Each developed country has submitted national plans for how AI will be used over the next 10 years or so. China has set aside huge sums of money to promote AI in the hope of becoming the world's most powerful nation by 2030. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that anyone with AI power will rule the world.
History of Artificial Intelligence
AI has been at the forefront of the mind for many computer scientists since the mid-20th century. This disciplinary handle was formulated and formalized in 1956 at Dartmouth College. Soon after, the industry became a financial fund and artificial human intelligence was instantaneous.
Original IA Sams, giving verbal answers, communicating with simple sentences, and moving continuous robots.
But 20 years later, the promise of human intelligence has not come. Limited computer power could not do many complex tasks and public support was weak. Most importantly, the researchers were promised and not overwhelmed.
The second boom of the 80s was the development of computers that could be based on decisions based on a previous problem. That AI is still very stupid. They had no practical applications. So the industry had another catastrophe a few years later.
Then a new class of artificial intelligence emerged. Instead of the need to program the computer specifically to learn the computer, you should learn the computer. As a result of artificial intelligence in computer science, computer-trained artificial intelligence first hit a supercomputer chess game in 1997, and 14 years later Watson defeated two rivals in Jopardi.
The early 2000s were a high watermark for artificial intelligence. Other areas of artificial intelligence include data storage, neural networks, and in-depth learning. AI has seen a huge renaissance with faster computers capable of performing more complex tasks, has become an important part of everyday life, and everything affects the Cartoon F that worked with your mother to make your drive work.
AI now
Today artificial intelligence has found unexpected applications. Research focuses on basically any
application, but robots, autonomous vehicles and drones are also more popular.
Composition and limited environment is another area that has benefited from improved computing power. In fact, some video game simulations have become very detailed and realistic, leading us to assume that we should live in a computer model.
Finally, language learning is becoming more efficient and difficult AI projects are underway. Sure, Siri can answer the question with a pre-programmed response, but the type of dialogue seen between TARS and the character of Matthew McNanah in Interstellar is still a way out.
AI in your daily life
Email Spam Filters - If you've ever wondered if you'll ever hear emails from Nigerian bosses, you can be thankful for artificial intelligence. Spam filters now use spam, learn to recognize that emails are genuine and not spam. Improving learning this AI - Google detected 99% of email spam in 2012 and updated it to 99.9% by 2015.
Mobile Check Deposit - Can I deposit my phone in the check? You guessed it - AI. Handwriting reading has historically been a problem for AI systems but is now commonplace. Now you can see live translations from Google Translate using your smartphone camera.
Facebook Picture Gift - Face recognition has long been a theme in spy movies, but it is now a reality with billions of pictures being uploaded across the internet every day. Facebook always acknowledges that a picture of someone you consider a friend makes it harder for artificial intelligence to work.
What will be stored for future AI?
Researchers have focused more on creating C3POs and WALL-Es, and some have been convinced that movies like Terminator and The Matrix have convinced us. Even useful AI and robotic robots like driverless machines, smartphones and homes that predict your every need are all around the corner.
As we push further into the stars, AI-controlled robots become very valuable for humans to explore very hostile worlds.
Some experts, such as Elon Musk, warn that advanced AI has caused massive job losses due to automation, which poses significant risks and problems to many robots, especially those in the manufacturing industry. But even though we do not have the progress of AI today, we do not know where it is going.
